Shri Ma Anandi
The Yogic healing arts of India postulate that all illness is the result of disturbance in the prana, or human energy field. On this cassette, a respected master of the Kundalini Maha Yoga lineage chants three mantras said to re-establish balance on the level of prana. These chants can, according to traditional understanding, impart a powerful healing impulse to the entire human system, body, mind and spirit.

Anonymous 4
The radiant music of Abbess Hildegard of Bingen, twelfth-century poet-composer, prophet and mystic, herbalist and healer, came to her in visions and was no doubt intended to be sung by the nuns of her convent. Her rhapsodic chants inspired by the legend of St. Ursula and the Eleven Thousand Virgins are full of imagery, weaving a hypnotic web of sound. Anonymous 4, who sing with "an ethereal clarity that is absolutely captivating"", are the ideal interpreters of this music. "The singing is angelic in its purity of tone and its intensity of spiritual expression. The music is astonishing." - The Sunday Times.

Hildegard (born in 1098) began to compose liturgical poetry and music in the 1140s when she first felt the courage to write down her visions. In the 1150s she gathered them into a lyrical cycle that she called the "Symphony of the Harmony of Heavenly Revelations." The concept of "Symphonia" is a key aspect of Hildegards thought. It designates not only a harmony of diverse notes produced by human voices and instruments, but also celestial harmony, and the harmony within a human being. These selections brilliantly evoke Hildegards attempts to create a bridge between the realms of the human and the spirit.
