Kitaro embarks on a journey deeply rooted in centuries old tradition and respect for our planet, Gaia, Mother Earth. Originating in the 1,200 year old Kojiki, the Onbashira Matsuri, which inspires this music, is a festival of spiritual cleansing which takes place every seven years in the Shinano-no-kuni region (modern day Nagano) of Japan. Distinguished by warmth and emotion this is one of Kitaro’s freshest and most exciting recordings.
