Neale Donald Walsch
In 1992, Walsch was close to 50 and less than happy with his life - four marriages had failed, his relationships with his kids was poor, he was unhealthy, and he'd lost his job. To vent his frustration he wrote an angry letter to God. What he didn't expect was that God should answer back (through automatic writing) in a highly personable and colloquial voice. This dialogue continued for three years, with Walsch plying God with questions, both general (why do we suffer?) and personal (why couldn't he make a go of it financially?). Here are the extraordinary answers to his questions. Answers that helped Walsch to change himself, his life and the way he viewed other beings.

Enlightening strikes again. Doing away with all earnestness and doctrine of whatever stripe, Swami Beyondananda, author of Driving Your Own Karma, elaborates on his theory that life is actually easy. The Swami is the self-proclaimed leader of a FUNdamentalist Revival (accent on the FUN), putting levity over gravity and offering seven ways to prevent Truth Decay. According to the Swami, the reason we are put in the material world is to get more material, and Nonjudgement Day is at hand. Although for most of us life is hardly easy, and can easily be hard, Swami says life can easily be easy and hardly be hard at all.

Soon Sangratan began teaching him "the Five Lessons of Life," and Adams realized he had stumbled upon a man who could offer advice that was both profound in its simplicity and powerful in its practicality. This is the true story of the meetings between these two men.
