Old chinese coins are used for casting the I Ching and are of symbolic significance in Feng Shui. The calligraphic style of the Chinese characters on the coins gives them a uniquely artistic quality. These T-shirts are decorated by hand by artists in Bali. First the background of the coin is hand-painted on to the T-shirt with water-fast paint, then hundreds and hundreds of small coloured beads are sewn on by hand to create the design. Please don’t think that the beading makes this more of a woman’s T-shirt, they look stunning on both men and women.
